Tourists need to have the following documents to rent a car in the UAE:

  1. Copy of international driver’s license
  2.  Passport copy
  3.  Copy of Dubai tourist visa
  4.  Deposit or cash guarantee amount (it will be returned to you after 25 working days after the wrong driving inquiry)
  5.  In case of delivery of the car at the airport, it is necessary to present a plane ticket

  • Copy of Dubai driver’s license (if you live in Dubai, driving with an international license is not approved by the UAE government)
